While practicing sit-ups will not remove fat from the belly, of course it is worth doing. Strengthening the abdominal musculature can correct posture, and when fat is really gone, then it will remain just a beautiful sculptured muscles. Then you are only left to wear a tight T-shirt and enjoy the flight.
Here are some tips on how to get the abs:
Exercise your abs 2-3 times a week.
Like all muscles and abs grow during rest not while exercising. So give them a chance to recover and increase and thus ready them for the next workout.
Exercise your abs at the beginning or at the end of the training, in the block. Do not prolong it throughout the training.
Do circuit training for a sit-in block. Will you do it at the beginning of training (if you know that you hate to do them at the end) or do them at the end (if you want to depletion of other musculature and then have intense training for the abs) ,it is for you to decide.
For every workout do other types of sit-ups. In this way prevents laziness sit-ups. Like any other muscle, and abdominal muscles, seeking a shortcut for each exercise. Shock them with several different exercises that will be changed during the week. Be moderate in the number of repetitions and speed. There is simply no need for hundreds of sit-ups. Do block 3-5 exercises with 15-20 reps. This method is much more efficient. Also, do not bend over backwards or work shorter version. Full motion, slowly focused. You’ll find it so much more difficult and therefore more efficient to train abdominal muscles.
