Flaxseed is the best source of essential fatty acids, which are to remind those fatty acids (components of fats and thus hormones) that our body can not produce and must be entered by food.
What is more important (so to say) in flaxseed is one of the omega 3 fatty acids which again we know that the promoters of health. Alpha lipoic acid contained in the plant this seed is of utmost importance for bodybuilders and athletes in general because it increases muscle sensitivity on insulin. Insulin is most active anabolic hormone after testosterone, which means that leads to the growth of muscles. The lipoic acid itself is stimulator secretion of testosterone. This fatty acid increases the muscles’s efficiency by increasing the supply of oxygen and increasing the mobility of fat in the blood (important because fats are the main source of energy). Alpha lipoic acid can itself be a source of energy, for the heart muscle.
It is always best when you write down all the benefits of a food, so here are the benefits of flaxseed oil:
- Decreases body fat
- Improves performance
- Reduces recovery time
- Reduces inflammation of muscles
- Increases the fat as a source of energy
- Increases oxygen consumption
Our body is unable to use flax seed oil because it lacks the necessary enzymes degradation. Of course, only flaxseed is an excellent source of fiber (flaxseed for constipation), but if you want oil, we have to take it in liquid form (not very pleasant taste) or in the form of supplements.
Linseed (flaxseed) oil can be added to salads, cereals, meat (but oil must not be thermally processed). It should be taken daily 2-3 teaspoons of oil and one just before bedtime.
The safest way is to take a supplement in capsule form also 2-3 times a day with meals and mandatory one before bedtime.
